Meet the New Kid on the GoGet Block - Our Electrifying New Kia Niro EVs in Partnership with Nightingale and Momentum!

Car sharing has been a game-changer in the battle to reduce our carbon footprint and transform our communities. At GoGet, we've been leading the charge in Australia for over 20 years, empowering our members to ditch unnecessary cars and drive less. The result? Fewer cars on the road, which translates to way less pollution and a substantial reduction in traffic and parking chaos on our city streets.

But that's not all – we're proud to introduce our latest eco-friendly addition to the GoGet fleet, the electrifying Kia Niro EVs named Marc and Banks. This dynamic duo is the result of a partnership with Momentum Energy and Nightingale Housing, located in The Village in Brunswick. Our vehicles have always been low CO2 emitters compared to the average Australian car, and the new Kia Niro EV continues that tradition.

The Kia Niro EV boasts a remarkable range of up to 460km on a single charge, making it a powerful ally for anyone looking to navigate town with ease and zero emissions.

GoGet's partnership with Nightingale goes way back to 2013 when we introduced a GoGet vehicle to the newly completed The Commons project in Brunswick. Nightingale's vision aligns perfectly with GoGet’s, striving for a sustainable Australia where housing is socially, financially, and environmentally responsible. In much the same way that Nightingale revolutionizes housing, GoGet challenges traditional car ownership, and both movements are rooted in sustainability and affordability.

The Village in Brunswick is a collection of six neighboring buildings, each designed by a different award-winning architect. It represents one of Australia's first medium-density fossil fuel-free residential precincts and is home to Victoria's largest car share pod.

Momentum Energy, as the Village's energy provider, has generously supported the upgrade of two vehicles on-site to electric vehicles (EVs). This not only benefits the residents but also introduces the advantages of electric vehicles and car sharing to a broader audience, shattering barriers like range anxiety and offering new opportunities for eco-friendly driving.

If you're eager to experience the Kia Niro EV, Marc and Banks are ready and waiting for you to take them for a spin. What's even better news is that these EVs are accessible to both residents and the wider GoGet community. Take one for a spin today and get ready to feel the spark!
