In partnership with Newtown Mission, we have gained access to a car bay on Wilson Street at the back of the church next to Varga Bar and a stones throw from the Post Office. 

Moving into the pod will be Emma the Echo, named in honour of Newtown CarShare member Emma Bain, who has paid a lot of money to having naming rights to the car! Emma will be a brand new 5 door Auto Toyota Echo. 

This location will give members who currently use the Erskineville and Camperdown Park pods a new option in between both pods.  It is also our first pod right next to King Street – perfect for local businesses who need access to a car for work.
