Parking on-site: Adelaide Airport Parking

For ease of travel and parking, not to mention sleeping in that little bit longer before an early morning flight, Adelaide airport provides a variety of options. While you can simply drive up and park, booking online scores you cheaper rates, and helps you get a better spot.

Terminal Car Park

To park as close as possible to the terminal, Adelaide airport hosts a multi-level car park with 1650 secure spaces across four levels. It takes just a few minutes to walk from your car to check-in, with direct undercover access. You don’t need to worry too much about hunting down spots either, as there’s a parking guidance lighting system to show you the way to empty spaces.

The Terminal car park offers 48 dedicated disabled spaces right next to the lifts. If you have an oversized vehicle, keep in mind that height and length restrictions apply. The maximum car height allowed is 2.2 metres and the length can’t be any more than a 12-seater mini-bus. If you own an electric car, there are four spot on Level 2 with chargers.

Rates for the Terminal car park start from $5 for up to 30 minutes, $42 for 24 hours and $126 for three days.

Long Term Car Park

When you need to park at Adelaide Airport long term, spaces can get rather pricey. Adelaide airport offers an economical long term car park, less than a 10 minute walk from the terminal. If you have heavy bags, there’s a free shuttle bus service to get you to the terminal. The bus runs every 20 minutes from 4:30am until 11:20pm.

Prices start from $31 for one day, up to $105 for seven days and $10 for each additional day after that.

It’s best to book online in advance, especially over the weekends, as the long term car park can fill up quickly. For all car parks, if you haven’t booked online, you can simply tap your credit card at the entry gate, or get a ticket and pay at a station before you drive out.

Off-Site Adelaide Airport Parking

If you’re on a tight budget and have a bit more flexibility with travel times, you can park off-site and still easily get to Adelaide airport, with the following companies:

Airport Security Parking

Just a few minutes drive away, Airport Security Parking is a family owned business offering secure, undercover parking and a courtesy shuttle bus transfer straight to the terminal. To come back to a car in better condition than you left it, they also have a hand car wash and vehicle detailing service.

Online rates start from $22.50 for one day to $135 for 20 days.

Andrew’s Airport Parking Adelaide

A fairly new off-airport car parking complex, Andrew’s Airport Parking Adelaide provides secure outdoor and undercover parking for up to 600 cars, 7 days a week, year-round. Free shuttle bus services to the terminal run on demand and you can also take advantage of full car detailing and repairs, if you choose.

Rates start from $22 outdoors for one day, to $159 in an undercover space for 14 days.

Street Parking

For the cheapskates out there, parking near Adelaide Airport for free is possible, though not necessarily advisable. Being a relatively smaller city, the suburbs around Adelaide Airport are fairly residential, and many don’t have strict parking regulations.

That doesn’t mean you can’t get fined, however. The closest suburbs have rules about long term parking, and you can find yourself with a fine if you leave you car too close for too long. You also need to consider the security element. If your car is seen in the same place for a while, some shady characters might consider it an easy mark.

With those warnings being made, if you decide a 30 minute walk and those risks are worth the savings, we’d recommend parking in Brooklyn Park north of Lipsett Terrace, west of Airport Road.
