There is plenty of green lawn where you can enjoy some wonderful foreign cuisine while listening to live music and getting a bird's-eye view of our most famous building. Before eating lunch from one of the numerous food stalls, peruse pottery, home goods, and clothing from up-and-coming local designers. All day long, there is also live entertainment.

Kings Cross Market

The Kings Cross Market, a popular Saturday event at Fitzroy Gardens from 10am to 2pm, draws a sizable crowd despite being relatively modest. Freshly cut flowers, organically grown fruit, and a wide selection of pastries, pies, and cakes free of gluten are all available at the stalls. After visiting the markets, stroll down MacLeay Street, passing clothing stores, bookstores, and cafes.

St Ives Showground Market
