Who can join on this offer?
To be eligible for this plan, you must be a resident in one of the social and affordable housing properties on-site. Sign up using the Join buttons on this page so your resident offer applies.
Is membership really free?
Yes. Your GoFrequent membership fee (worth $360 a year) and the joining fee are waived. You only pay for the bookings you make: either by the hour or the day, plus a per-kilometre rate, and any tolls.
How long does the free membership last?
For as long as you live in a City West Housing property.
Can someone else in my household drive too?
Yes. GoFrequent lets you have up to four drivers on one account, so you can add up to three extra drivers.
What if my plans change?
No stress. Cancellation is free right up until your booking starts.
Where are the cars?
There are GoGet cars on-site at City West Housing, plus 3,000+ cars and vans across Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra and Brisbane. Once you've joined, the GoGet app shows every car (and van) near you and when it's free.
How do I unlock the car?
Tap your Smartcard on the reader on the windscreen. The keys are inside the car, on a cord under the steering wheel.
I'm already a GoGet member. Can I switch?
Yes. Contact our Member Services team at [email protected] and ask to move to the City West Housing resident plan.
Already a member and living at City West Housing?
You don't need to re-join. Email Member Services at [email protected] and we'll move you across to your resident plan.

Offer is valid for new members who are residents of City West Housing social and affordable housing properties and who join via the Join buttons on this page. Offer waives the GoFrequent plan membership fee ($30 per month, valued at $360 per year) and the $25 application fee. At sign up, this saves $55: the $25 application fee plus the first month's membership fee, which is usually paid up front. Offer applies for the duration of the member's residency.
