Simply click the Join button anywhere on our site to sign up. Once you’ve been approved, you can opt to pick up a GoGet smartcard or we can mail you one and you can activate it via the GoGet iPhone or Android app. Then you can start booking cars on the app with just a few taps.

You can join GoGet and be in a car within a few hours in most cases! Sometimes if we require additional information from you, it may be a day or two. To get the ball rolling, simply sign up online, this should only take about 5 minutes of your time. To expedite the process, ensure you have a valid credit/debit card or PayPal account, your current driver's license, and be ready to take a quick selfie with your license.

You can elect to pick up a smartcard from a pickup location near you or select to have it mailed out to you during the sign up process. Your smartcard is what you use to access GoGet vehicles. Once you’ve got your smartcard and your account has been approved, log into the GoGet app and follow the yellow banner to activate your smartcard, and you’ll be good to go! You will be able to make bookings and reserve cars in the app as soon as you’ve finished the sign up process.

GoGet membership plans range from free to $30 a month depending on your usage needs. Cars start at $7.80 an hour or $89 a day. GoGet covers the cost of fuel, rego, insurance, and maintenance. We also include 100km free for day bookings.

You do require a membership to use GoGet. We have a variety of membership plans to choose from, depending on your usage and needs. However, if you only need occasional access to a van, our Van Plan has no membership fees, and you only pay for what you use. Additionally, our GoStarter plan is currently free for the first year, offering you the chance to hire cars and vans with no upfront fees. Booking a GoGet for a day is as easy as pie. Once you’ve signed up and your account is active, simply hop on the GoGet App, available for iPhone and Android. With a few taps on the app, you can search for a nearby GoGet vehicle and book it for the time you need. It's that simple.

Every GoGet trip is a round trip. When you're done, bring the car back to its pod and swipe off. It's important to return it to its original spot so the next member can find it. There's no distance limit on GoGet vehicles. Whether it's an hourly booking or a day booking, you're free to go as far as you like. For hourly bookings, you are charged $0.48 per kilometre. For day bookings, you get 100 kilometres for free, and then it's $0.35 cents per kilometre. Remember, fuel, registration, insurance, repairs, and cleaning are all included in the cost of your booking. Using a GoGet car is super simple. First, ensure your GoGet smartcard is activated. Once you’re made your booking in the app and it’s time for your drive, swipe your smartcard on the card reader, located on the driver’s side of the windscreen to unlock the car. You'll find the keys hanging on a retractable cord below the steering wheel. Use them to start the car, and you're ready to roll! When you're done, return the car to its pod, swipe your smartcard on the card reader again to lock the car (check that it’s locked by lifting up the door handle), and you're all done. It's as easy as that, simple and hassle-free!

IMPORTANT: During your booking, you will lock and unlock the car using your GoGet smartcard, the car keys stay in the car.
