How to check your application status

Now you can search and book vehicles in the app.
Get started: Download the app now
Your Smartcard (used to access GoGet vehicles) will now be posted to you automatically and will take 5+business days. If you need to get going sooner, you can pick one up from a partner location.

Booking a GoGet is easy and seamless using the app
Booking is super simple - use the app or website to choose a car, time, and location. Book by the hour for quick trips or by the day with 80km included free. Plans change? Cancel your booking for free right up until your booking starts.

Every booking includes insurance - here's what you need to know
Every GoGet booking includes comprehensive insurance, but like all insurance, there's an excess you're liable for if something goes wrong. The amount depends on your age and vehicle type. You can reduce your excess by adding optional damage cover when you book - it's like peace of mind for $2.50/hour.
Finding & Accessing Your Car
Find your car with ease using the app at the start of your booking
Every car has a 'pod' - that's its home parking spot. Use the app to find it, tap your smartcard on the windscreen reader to unlock and lock, and grab the keys inside to start it. Easy! The car keys always stay in the car, your Smartcard always stays with you.

Take 2 minutes before you drive to check for damage
This protects you from being charged for existing damage and ensures you have a smooth trip. Check the exterior, interior, fuel level, and report any issues through the app immediately.

Refuelling Made Simple
GoGet always pays for fuel - it's included!
Just remember: return the car after your booking with at least 1/4 tank. If it drops below that during your trip, fill up using the fuel card attached to the keys. Fuel PIN is in the app.
On The Road - Where You Can (and Can't) Drive
Go interstate, stay local, drive anywhere on your terms
Drive anywhere on sealed roads in Australia - yes, even interstate! Tolls are automatically applied and charged to your account. Just remember: no unsealed roads, no snow areas, pets only in pet-friendly vehicles and all trips are return trips. Roadside assist is available 24/7 if you find yourself in a pickle.

- Park anywhere during trip as long as it's legal

Returning Your Car & Ending Your Booking
Leave it how you'd love to find it
Return the car to its pod (its home location listed in the app under your current booking), remove your belongings, tap off with your smartcard to lock and end your booking. That's it! Forgot to tap off? You'll be charged late fees, so double-check that you tapped off and the doors are locked.

You pay a monthly/yearly membership fee (if applicable). Then you pay booking charges for time + distance for each trip. Daily bookings include 80km free. Tolls charged up to 7 days later.
