“We Love It! GoGet is Much Better than Owning for us in the Docklands/CBD – I don't generally write reviews, but GoGet is so fantastic I decided I will to share with others, especially if you live in the CBD. We sold our car as we live in Docklands next to the Melbourne CBD and decided to try using GoGet for when I want to use a vehicle. We are so happy about our decision to switch to casual car rental rather than owning. After all the insurance hikes we've had and petrol costs, the cost and ease of use for using GoGet is far better for us. Being in Docklands on the edge of the CBD, we only drive a car a few times a month. There are several GoGet cars in our area, all styles we like. Mostly we will use the SUVs for comfort, but the Hatchbacks and Van near us will come in handy if we want to save money or need to go to IKEA. The signup process for GoGet is very good - I had to call them and their customer service over the phone was great too. Their website and app are great - which is not common for many companies in Australia. All instructions are extremely well thought out and clear. The actual car we hire, we kind of feel that it is our own community car. It's great we know the vehicle rather than just having to rent a vehicle we don't know every time. That familiarity makes the whole experience more enjoyable to us. So to anyone thinking of joining GoGet - I say GoJoin! Even if you just want to try it out - then you might end up like us and sell your vehicle for good. We love it!”
